Visual content proposal - The Ludlow Hotel
Dark, cinematic interiors
on the Lower East Side,
photographed the way they deserve to be.
Intentional and aspirational photography and short-form video built to drive direct bookings, not just fill the Instagram feed.
The opportunity
Where The Ludlow stands
One of downtown New York's
strongest visual identities.
The photography needs to match.
Exposed brick, dark wood, candlelit bars, a rooftop with Manhattan views. The Ludlow has a cinematic quality that most hotels spend years trying to manufacture. The photography needs to be intentional in capturing this.
What the work is actually for
Images that make someone
complete their booking.
The Ludlow's guest is downtown-native, design-aware, choosing this hotel because of its atmosphere. That atmosphere has to come through in every photo before they ever walk through the door.
Content concepts for The Ludlow Hotel
The bar at night
Dirty French is one of the best-looking restaurant spaces on the Lower East Side. Photographed with the right candlelight and the right moment in the frame, it's the image that drives both hotel bookings and standalone dining reservations.
The rooms
Dark tones, warm lighting, exposed brick - the Ludlow's rooms photograph beautifully in low light. We shoot them the way they feel as the lights begin to dim.
The rooftop
Manhattan views from a rooftop on the Lower East Side, at the right time of day, with the right person in the frame. That's a lifestyle photograph that sells the hotel to exactly the right guest.
