Visual content proposal - The Marlton Hotel
Parisian bistro energy
in the heart of Greenwich Village,
photographed the way it feels.
Intentional and aspirational photography and short-form video built to drive direct bookings, not just fill the Instagram feed.
The opportunity
Where The Marlton stands
The aesthetic is strong.
The photography doesn't match.
Dark wood, leather banquettes, marble surfaces, a lobby with a warmth and specificity that most hotels spend years trying to manufacture. The Marlton has one of the most distinctive visual identities of any boutique hotel in the Village. The photography needs to match that identity and attract the guest who responds to it.
What the work is actually for
Images that make someone
complete their booking.
The Marlton's guest is a specific person - design-conscious, downtown-minded, choosing this hotel over a dozen alternatives because of how it looks and feels. The photography has to speak to that person before they ever book.
Content concepts for The Marlton Hotel
The lobby
Dark wood paneling, warm lighting, the kind of lobby that makes you want to sit and stay. That atmosphere photographs beautifully and it's the first thing a potential guest sees. It needs to be the best image in the hotel's arsenal.
The rooms
Compact but thoughtfully designed, with a European sensibility that feels intentional rather than small. We photograph the rooms the way they actually feel to be in - not from a wide angle that makes them look clinical.
Cafe Marlton
A French bistro-inspired cafe inside a Greenwich Village hotel is exactly the kind of thing that drives both hotel bookings and standalone dining traffic. It needs photography that treats it as a destination, not an amenity.

Content System looks like
for The Marlton Hotel.
Most hotels at this level have the product. The photography just hasn't caught up. One shoot is enough to change that. Let's walk through what that looks like specifically for The Marlton.
